Jamie, the Dungeon Master

Jamie rolled his first dice at 13, and never really stopped. Two decades on, he runs games twice a week without fail — one online, one in person — for the same loyal table of friends. He is, by universal agreement of everyone who has ever sat at his table, a genuinely brilliant DM: the kind who remembers the throwaway joke your character made four sessions ago and pays it off in the finale.

Left entirely to his own devices, he would run a campaign seven nights a week. Suzy, reasonably, has never allowed this. So Jamie found the loophole — if people are booking the table, "just one more session" stops being a household negotiation and starts being a Tuesday. Sense & Flow is that loophole, formalised.

By day, Jamie is a composer and video game sound designer — and he brings the full toolkit straight to the table. Suzy, the Planner

Suzy didn't set out to fall for D&D — it happened by osmosis, one campaign at a time, over nearly twenty years of marriage to a man who never stopped talking about his current arc. Somewhere along the way, "sitting in on Jamie's game" turned into genuine devotion.

Enough devotion, in fact, that when it came time to write her Master's dissertation in Event Management, she didn't write about weddings or conferences — she wrote about immersive tabletop roleplay, and what happens when a story stops living only in your ears and starts living in your senses: the woodsmoke drifting off the tavern hearth, the honeyed mead before the toast, a feast you can taste before you've even sat down.
